Sr. Mary Peter of the Good Shepherd
On Wednesday, April 23, we had the joy of celebrating Sr. Mary Peter's 92nd birthday. Although Sister is the oldest (and smallest!) member of our community she is the youngest at heart, and a giant inspiration to all of us, especially our novitiate sisters. Her childlike joy and delightful sense of humor in the face of the difficulties of old age are amazing to witness. She was thrilled when the novitiate sisters presented her with her birthday cupcake and serenaded her with "Happy Birthday" and "Many Years." Ad multos annos, Sister, and may the Lord continue to bless you and reward you for your fidelity to Him!
