A few special saints and other holy people came by last night for a party in their honor! Below are a few pictures of our guests! Did you guess who they are?
Back: Bl. Gabriella Sagheddo, St. John Bosco, The Blue Nun, Bl Teresa of Calcutta, St. Lawrence, St. Fiacre,
Front: St. Peter of Verona, St. Cecilia, St. Clare. Peeping from behind is Sr. Maria who put a grey wig on her head and said, "I'm my grandmother Maria of Menfi. If she could live with my grandfather than she WAS a SAINT!"
Sr. Diana Marie as a young Mother Teresa!

Oh, you all look GREAT! And you know, I never considered putting holy water in a wine bottle...hmmm.....
Wondering...did you use painter's tape to make the stripes for Bl. Mother Teresa? A couple years ago one of our high school students dressed up as her for Vacation Bible School (saint of the day), and I still have the "habit" in my office: a white sheet with painter's tape! Unfortunately it's peeling and needs to be redone so am looking for other ideas if you have any!
God bless and blessed Feast of All Saints (and tomorrow, All Souls!)
We used ribbon...lots of it!
You guys ROCK those costumes. I especially like the Blue Nun. Ha!
They all look like they had great fun. Thank you for sharing these pictures.
Great costumes, Sisters! Hope you had a great Halloween.
Love in Christ,
Candice
Lovely! St. Clare was my favorite, until I saw St. Peter Martyr! I learned his story from seeing him in a fresco (not Fra Angelico's but the kind where he has one knife in his shoulder and another in his skull) and wondering "What on earth??"
Of course my favorite is Sr. Joseph Maria as Don Bosco! You guys are great! God bless you!
