A Sure Sign of Spring!

09 March 2010

Meet "Rex" our resident hermit-fox! Rex took up his abode with us last fall building his hermitage, I mean, his den between the carriage house and garden shed. Lately, he's been seen sunning himself in the orchard.

If Rex decides to stay he'll probably take care of all our rabbit problems in the garden! How did he get in? All this wildlife usually comes in through the drains in the wall or under the gate. The wild turkeys, however, just jump the wall! Who will visit us next?

I didn't realize foxes came out in the daytime. Very cute.

That's amazing. I live in D.C., and occasionally, we have fox who come to our neighborhood from nearby Rock Creek Park. They are beautiful animals.

Glad to see the snow is melting! Can spring be far behind?

Love in Christ,

Candice

Animals are wonderful companions on the journey. I hope you get a new dog!

Be careful sisters, foxes commonly have rabies.
